Our turkey poults are from the Kelly Bronze hatchery in Essex which we have received poults from for the last 25 years.
They arrive on-farm in the first week of August at one day old. They are reared in pole barns with natural light and ventilation, and bedded daily with fresh straw. We have Traditional White Turkey’s in a pole barn and Free Range Bronze Turkey’s which feed and roam on the Wigginton Fields grass meadows. They are a naturally slow growing which are makes the meat more succulent.
The turkeys never leave the farm from day one. All our processing is done in house to reduce food miles so there is no compromise on welfare.
Your turkey will be carefully weighed and packaged with cooking instructions, ready to go into your oven.
